Kenneth Hill, a native of Indianapolis, Indiana, was born with a passion for unmanned aerial systems and autonomy. His journey into the world of drones began at Indiana State University, where he pursued and earned a bachelor’s degree in Unmanned Aerial Systems and Autonomy. This comprehensive program equipped Kenneth with a strong foundation in drone technology, flight operations, laws, and autonomy topics, preparing him for a successful career in the rapidly evolving drone industry.
Armed with his educational background, Kenneth delved into various roles within the drone sector. He explored opportunities as a drone pilot, remote sensing specialist, aerial photographer, and drone software developer. His versatile skill set also extends to teaching, where he is adept at instructing aspiring commercial drone pilots for the Part 107 certification exam in the United States.
Kenneth’s expertise includes a deep understanding of Part 107 regulations, essential for navigating the complex landscape of commercial drone operations. As a Part 107 instructor for projects at Indiana State University, he imparts knowledge on FAA rules, guidelines, airspace restrictions, operational limitations, and safety protocols.
